Properties:
- gastrointestinal carminative and antispasmodic;
- stomachic and aperitif tonic;
- cough sedative and expectorant;
- galactogogue, nerve tonic, diuretic, disinfectant.
Ingredients :
Fennel fruit.
Method of preparation and administration:
- Infusion - for infants put 5-6 seeds per 100 ml of water, and for adults 1-2 teaspoons per day.
- External - gargle with infusion in double concentration, eye baths with infusion.
Contraindications and precautions:
- Avoid exposure to the sun or UV radiation during treatment, due to the photosensitization phenomenon.
- It is administered with caution in patients with allergic conditions.
