The Sylimar forte dietary supplement contains milk thistle seed extract (Sylibum Marianum L.) standardized for the presence of silymarin. Silymarin, obtained from milk thistle seed husks, is a complex of active flavonolignans. Milk thistle affects the proper functioning of the liver, has a protective effect and supports the regeneration of its cells. Milk thistle contributes to the proper production of bile.
