Description
Sterilpeg is a medical device in powder form for extemporaneous oral suspension, useful in the treatment of constipation.
Particularly indicated for chronic constipation and in cases of occasionally irregular bowel movements.
Sterilpeg can be used from 6 months of age.

Ingredients
A full dose contains: 10 g of Macrogol 3350, divided into 2 sachets of 5 g each (half dose).
Gluten free.
Lactose free.

How to use
Dissolve the contents of 1 whole sachet (10 g) in approximately 125 ml (one glass) of still water, mixing well.
Increase to 150 ml in pediatric age.
Drink the reconstituted solution.
The half dose (5 g) can be dissolved in approximately half a glass of still water (62.5 ml).
It is recommended to take STERILPEG away from meals.
From 6 months to 2 years (up to 12 kg) : the contents of half a sachet (5 g) 1 or 2 times a day.
From 2 to 11 years (from 12 kg to 20 kg) : the contents of one whole sachet (10 g) 1 or 2 times a day.
Over 11 years (or >20 kg) and adults : the contents of one whole sachet (10 g) 1 to 3 times a day.

Warnings
It is possible to divide the daily dose into several administrations.
The dose may be increased or decreased depending on individual response to treatment. In any case, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
Use the product in pediatric patients only after medical advice. Sterilpeg is best taken between meals.
Not recommended for use in children under 6 months of age. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age to avoid accidental ingestion.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Supplements should not be considered a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
