Saliform forte cream, 100g, Antibiotice SA

Indications:
Saliform Forte belongs to the class of drugs known as topical medications for joint and muscle pain; salicylic acid derivative drugs.
Saliform Forte is used to relieve musculo-tendino-ligament pain caused by overexertion from physical exertion or minor arthritis.
Saliform Forte can also be used before sustained physical exertion, to relax the muscles that will be required.

Composition:
-The active substances are: methyl salicylate and levomenthol. One gram of cream contains methyl salicylate 150 mg and levomenthol 100 mg.

Method of administration:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is 3 - 4 applications per day. Saliform Forte is applied to the skin, gently massaging the affected area until completely absorbed.
If you use more Saliform Forte than you should
Applying Saliform Forte to large surfaces, to damaged skin and/or under occlusive dressings may cause overdose, manifested by: vomiting, breathing difficulties and the perception of unusual noises.

Contraindications:
Do not use this medicine and tell your doctor:
-if you are allergic to methyl salicylate and levomenthol, or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
-on damaged or irritated skin.

Precautions:
Saliform Fortese is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
Do not apply Saliform Forte under an occlusive dressing, on large surfaces, or with an electric heating pad.
If irritation and redness of the skin occurs, it is recommended to discontinue the use of Saliform Forte cream.
If the pain persists for more than 10 days without improvement, a doctor should be consulted.
Children:
It is not recommended for use in children under 15 years of age.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Since methyl salicylate is absorbed through the skin and can cause central nervous system excitation, especially after application to large surfaces, the administration of Saliform Forte during pregnancy and breastfeeding should only be done after evaluating the maternal therapeutic benefit - potential fetal risk ratio.

Driving and using machines:
Saliform Forte does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.
