Pempa BK-C2 test strips are intended for home or healthcare facility use.

They are used to measure cholesterol from capillary whole blood.

These cholesterol test strips are designed for use with the Pempa BK6-40M and BeneCheck 3-in-1 devices.

Pempa cholesterol test strips use electrochemical biosensor technology. The blood sample is drawn into the reaction site, and then the active substance is electrically tested using electrodes. The result is converted into a digital format and displayed on the screen.

Indications: 

Blood cholesterol measurement.

How to use:

• Remove the test strip from the vial and immediately close the lid
• Insert the test strip into the device. The device will turn on automatically
• Check that the code displayed on the screen matches the one on the strip vial
• Use the lancet to obtain a blood sample
• When the blood drop symbol appears on the display, touch the tip of the strip to the blood sample. Throw away the used strip and lancet in the waste container.

Warnings: 

• The control solution test range may change with each new pack of strips. Always check the range on the strip vial label
• Do not use the device if the control test result is not within the range indicated on the vial. In this case, contact your local dealer or distributor/service provider
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, heat, and humidity
• Store at room temperature 4-30˚C (39-86˚F); do not refrigerate or freeze the strips
• Do not transfer the strips to different vials. Each vial may have a different code
• Do not bend or cut the strips
• Use the strips within 3 months of first opening.

Warnings:

• Strips made by other manufacturers are not approved for use with Pempa and BeneCheck devices
• Using strips from other manufacturers may cause inaccurate test results or damage to the device
• Keep the strips out of reach of children.
