Sodium butyrate - properties
Sodium butyrate ( Sodium butyrate ) is a sodium salt of butyric acid with a specific smell. Butyric acid is an organic chemical compound belonging to short-chain fatty acids and can be found in small amounts in some food products. In the human body, butyric acid is produced in the large intestine by intestinal bacteria. After ingestion, sodium butyrate is rapidly absorbed in the upper gastrointestinal tract.
The package contains 60 capsules, which are enough for an adult for one month of daily supplementation, and in the case of children over 7 years old for 2 months.
