Leustean has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-parasitic, antiviral, antifungal action, stimulates hepato-biliary function, tonic-appetizer action, increases appetite, diuretic, fights steatosis of the liver, regulates the menstrual cycle and relieves dysmenorrhea, neurotonic, mild anticoagulant, sedative, hypotensive , expectorant effect in respiratory diseases, anti-inflammatory, emollient and cicatrizing effect on the skin in skin diseases.

Therapeutic indications:
Leustean is indicated in acute and chronic bronchitis, biliary dyskinesia, digestive dyspepsia, anorexia, constipation, food poisoning, enterocolitis, spastic colopathy, fermentative colitis, intestinal parasites, hepato-biliary diseases, urinary infections, kidney stones, arterial hypertension, menstrual disorders.
In external use, leustean is used in skin conditions (psoriasis) and rheumatic pains (arthritis, arthrosis).

Method of preparation and administration:
The infusion is prepared from a teaspoon with a powder tip to a cup of boiling water that is left to infuse for 10-15 minutes, then strained, drink 2-3 cups a day.

Precautions and contraindications:
It is not used during pregnancy and is used in moderate quantities (maximum 3 g of fresh leaves per day) during breastfeeding.
