Ingredients:
Horsetail grass (Equiseti herba)

Action:
Diuretic (including with mild antiseptic action), dechlorinating, remineralizing, gastric hemostatic, gastric neutralizing, expectorant, antieczematous, antiperspirant.

Active principles:
Silicic acid (of which 10-20% soluble), saponins, flavonoids, potassium salts, traces of volatile oil, a bitter principle, vitamin C.

Recommendations:
Kidney diseases (including urinary diseases), dropsy, albuminuria, gout/Other recommendations: Heart diseases, adjuvant in pulmonary TB, anemias, caries prevention and strengthening of fragile nails, hemorrhoids, dysmenorrhea, hyperacid gastritis, ulcer, cough, varicose ulcers, eczema, foot sweat.

Method of preparation:
Infusion/ 1-2 sachets per cup of 250 ml water. Drink two cups a day.

Contraindications:
Due to the high content of silicon, the consumption of this plant for children is not indicated for more than 2 weeks (breaks are taken and then resumed). Do not prolong a horsetail treatment for more than 6 weeks. It is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Horsetail can irritate the digestive tract. It is good to avoid it if you suffer from heart or kidney diseases.
