Exoderil 10 mg/ml solution, 10 ml, Sandoz

Exoderil is indicated for: fungal infections of the skin or skin folds (Tinea corporis, Tinea inguinalis); interdigital mycoses (Tinea manum, Tinea pedum); fungal nail infections; candidiasis skin infections; pityriasis versicolor; inflammatory dermatomycoses (with or without itching).

Composition:

• The active ingredient is naftifine hydrochloride
• 1 ml of cutaneous solution contains 10 mg of naftifine hydrochloride
• The other ingredients are: propylene glycol, ethanol, purified water.

How to use:

• For local application to the skin or nails only
• Apply topically once daily to the affected area and surrounding areas after cleaning and drying
• To prevent recurrence, it is recommended to administer Exoderil for at least another 2 weeks after clinical recovery

Contraindications:

Do not use Exoderil if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to naftifine, benzyl alcohol, or any of the other ingredients of Exoderil.

Precautions:

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Exoderil.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility:

• If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine
• When used correctly, the medicine has no effect on the fetus or newborn
• Teratological studies have not revealed any embryotoxic effects of naftifine.

Driving and using machines:

• Not relevant.
