Aquilea Sleep Forte comes in an innovative three-layer tablet form, where the ingredients are released as needed. Fall asleep: 1. The first, fast-release layer contains 1.95 mg of melatonin to help reduce the time it takes to fall asleep*, together with piperine (from black pepper), vitamin D and vitamin B6 for a synergistic effect. 2. Sleep maintenance: The second layer, released throughout the night, contains Griffonia (5-HTP), a precursor to serotonin that synthesizes melatonin in the body. It also contains passion flower and California poppy to support quality sleep. 3. Restful sleep: The third layer, with valerian and lemon balm, is released gradually and contributes to relaxation for a restful sleep.
