Xylo Nasal is een neusoplossing van Rompharm die het ademen vergemakkelijkt, neusverstopping verlicht en heilzaam en nuttig kan zijn bij verkoudheid, allergische rhinitis of sinusitis. Het is verkrijgbaar als druppels en bevat xylometazolinehydrochloride.
Verzorgingsvormen
Xylo Nasal is verkrijgbaar als neusdruppeloplossing, 10 ml.
Inticaties voor gebruik
Deze druppels zijn geïndiceerd om de ademhaling te vergemakkelijken en verstopte neus te verlichten. Dergelijke problemen kunnen worden veroorzaakt door verkoudheid, allergische rinitis en sinusitis. Xylo neusdruppels zijn nuttig bij verstopte neus, rinitis, een vorm van allergische of vasomotorische rinitis, om de afvoer van afscheidingen bij sinusproblemen te vergemakkelijken of als ondersteunende behandeling bij otitis media. Het kan ook rhinoscopie vergemakkelijken en werkt door de bloedvaten in de neus te vernauwen.
Dosering en wijze van gebruik
Dit product wordt 3-4 keer per dag nasaal toegediend, 2 druppels in elk neusgat.
Hoe lang moet u Xylo Nasal innemen: Deze druppels mogen niet langer dan 5-7 opeenvolgende dagen worden gebruikt. Als meer dan deze periode nodig is, neem dan een pauze van 5 dagen tussen de doses. Ook als je je na 7 dagen niet beter voelt, raadpleeg dan je arts.
Contra-indicaties
Dit product is gecontra-indiceerd in geval van allergie of overgevoeligheid voor de ingrediënten van het product. Het wordt ook afgeraden bij droge en niet druppelende slijmvliezen, verhoogde oogdruk, kinderen jonger dan 6 jaar of als je recent een hersenoperatie via de neus hebt ondergaan.
Interacties met andere geneesmiddelen en voedingsmiddelen
Het is raadzaam om uw arts of apotheker op de hoogte te stellen van alle behandelingen die u gebruikt om veiligheidsredenen. Er kunnen interacties optreden met geneesmiddelen tegen depressie, geneesmiddelen die cafeïne bevatten, oxytocine, schildkliermedicatie of energiedrankjes met cafeïne of guarana, omdat Xylo neusdruppels de bloeddruk kunnen verhogen. Er kunnen ook interacties optreden met adrenerge blokkers, vaatverwijders of andere geneesmiddelen. Het mag niet tegelijk met cafeïne en energiedrankjes worden ingenomen, omdat Xylo neusdruppels de bloeddruk kan verhogen.
Bijwerkingen
Dit geneesmiddel is over het algemeen veilig. Soms kunnen echter bijwerkingen optreden, zoals een branderig of prikkend gevoel in de neus en keel of droogheid van het neusslijmvlies.
Overdosering
Gebruik het preparaat alleen op advies van uw arts en neem niet meer dan aanbevolen om mogelijke reacties bij overdosering te voorkomen. Raadpleeg uw arts als u meer inneemt dan nodig is.
Opbewaarcondities
Bewaar het product op een droge en koele plaats, uit de buurt van directe warmte. Niet meer gebruiken na 28 dagen na opening van de fles.
