De actieve ingrediënten in AftiBlock zijn panthenol, dat het natuurlijke genezingsproces van beschadigd weefsel ondersteunt, en glycyrrhizinezuur, dat plaatselijk wordt gebruikt bij allergische of infectieuze huidontstekingen en ontstekingsremmende eigenschappen heeft. De andere ingrediënten van AftiBlock zijn: Propyleenglycol, water, hydroxyethylcellulose, kaliumsorbaat, natriumsaccharine, citroenzuur en benzalkoniumchloride. Panthenol of pantothenol is een derivaat van pantotheenzuur en wordt gebruikt in geneesmiddelen en cosmetica als vochtinbrengend middel dat de wondgenezing ondersteunt.
