Gripoff from Slavia Pharm is a pharmaceutical product in the analgesic-antipyretic category for the symptomatic treatment of colds and flu. It contains an effective combination of three active substances: paracetamol, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and chlorphenamine maleate. Its formula provides pain relief, reduces fever and nasal congestion while supporting the immune system.
Delivery forms
Gripoff is available as granules for oral suspension - a handy way to prepare a warm, lemon-flavored drink, ideal for relieving symptoms in the acute phases of colds and flu.
The Gripoff Max packaging includes individual sachets, each containing 1000 mg paracetamol, 200 mg ascorbic acid and 4 mg chlorphenamine maleate. Gripoff sachet is available in 8 or 10 sachets.
Indications for use
Gripoff granules is used for the symptomatic relief of common cold, flu and febrile conditions, including:
- Headache;
- Sore throat;
- Muscle and joint pain;
- Nasal congestion;
- Sinusitis;
- Chills and general discomfort.
It is also recommended for the symptomatic treatment of allergic or vasomotor rhinitis.
Chlorphenamine maleate helps to reduce nasal congestion, sneezing and lacrimation, while paracetamol relieves pain and fever.
Vitamin C supports the immune system and helps reduce the duration of flu symptoms.
Dosage regimen
The usual dose depends on the severity of symptoms, individual needs and doctor's recommendations.
In general, one sachet dissolved in a cup of warm water (200 ml), taken at 4-6 hour intervals, not to exceed 4 sachets per day, is recommended. Do not take more than one sachet at a time as a single dose.
It is important that the product is used for a maximum of 5 days, strictly observing the recommended doses.
The product is only recommended for short-term use in adults and adolescents over 15 years of age.
Contraindications
Gripoff is contraindicated in the following situations:
- Hypersensitivity to paracetamol, chlorphenamine or other components of the product;
- Concomitant use with other medicines containing paracetamol;
- Hypertension, hyperthyroidism or heart disease;
- Diabetes mellitus;
- Severe hepatic or renal impairment;
- Closed angle glaucoma;
- Children under 15 years of age.
Gripoff is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to lack of safety studies.
Particulars of use
For patients with chronic alcoholism, the maximum dose should be reduced to 2 g of paracetamol per day, and the duration between 2 doses should be at least 8 hours.
For patients with hepatic or renal impairment, dosage adjustment or prolongation of the interval between doses may be necessary, as advised by the doctor.
Important! Gripoff contains aspartame, a source of phenylalanine. This can be harmful in patients who have a condition called phenylketonuria.
Side-effects
Like any medicine, Gripoff can cause side effects, although not all people experience them. These include:
- Digestive upset (pyrosis, diarrhea), dizziness, sedation
- Dry mouth, constipation, drowsiness.
Very rarely, severe allergies (anaphylaxis), liver disorders, bronchospasm may occur.
If allergic reactions occur, treatment should be stopped immediately and the patient should consult a doctor.
Interactions with other medicines and food
Gripoff interacts with numerous drugs, including:
- Tricyclic antidepressants and monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs);
- Beta-blockers and cardiac glycosides;
- Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
- Oral contraceptives, which may reduce the effectiveness of the product;
- Warfarin or coumarin derivatives.

Overdose
Overdose of paracetamol is a serious risk and may cause severe liver damage. Symptoms include:
- Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain
- Headache, restlessness
- Severe allergic reactions
In case of overdose, the patient should seek medical help immediately.
Storage conditions
The product should be kept in a dry place, away from direct light, stored at temperatures below 25°C. Gripoff should be kept out of the reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
