Description
Food supplement containing selenium in a bioavailable form, which contributes to the normal functioning of the thyroid.
Selenium is a trace mineral present in humans. It is present as selenocysteine ​​in selenoproteins, the major families of which include glutathione peroxidase, thioredoxin reductase, and iodothyronine deiodinase. As a cofactor of these various selenoproteins, selenium is implicated in several aspects of thyroid homeostasis.
The presence of selenium in the form of L-selenomethionine ensures good bioavailability with a reduced risk of toxicity, making it suitable for long-term use. Bioperine is a standardized black pepper extract containing piperine. Bioperine has been shown to increase the bioavailability of water- and fat-soluble nutrients, particularly L-selenomethionine.

Ingredients
Soya oil, edible gelatine; firming agent: glycerol (E 422); selenised yeast, black pepper (Piper Nigrum L. es, fructus) (bioperine); anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide (E 551); L-selenomethionine; colourings: iron oxide (E172).

Gluten- free and lactose- free.
