Rowachol, 30 capsules, Rowa Wagner

This medicine is used to destroy (by dissolving or disintegrating) and evacuate (excrete) gallstones.

Rowachol increases bile production and relaxes the bile ducts. This helps reduce painful spasms of the bile ducts.

It also facilitates the elimination of gallstones present in the gallbladder along with bile.

Composition:

• The active substances are: α-pinene, β-pinene, menthol, menthone, camphene, borneol, cineol. One capsule contains: α-pinene 13.6 mg, β-pinene 3.4 mg, menthol 32 mg, menthone 6 mg, borneol 5 mg, camphene 5 mg, cineole 2 mg
• The other ingredients are: capsule - virgin olive oil; capsule shell: gelatin, glycerol 85%, sodium ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate, sodium propyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E 217), sodium cupro-chlorophyllin.

Method of administration:

• Adults: the recommended dose is 1 capsule 3-4 times a day, 30 minutes before meals.
• Children over 6 years of age: the usual dose is 1 capsule 1-2 times a day, 30 minutes before meals.
• The duration of treatment depends on the doctor's recommendation, depending on the type of condition and the particularities of each individual case.

Contraindications:

Do not use Rowachol capsules:

• if you are allergic to α-pinene, β-pinene, menthol, menthone, camphene, borneol, cineol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6 if you have biliary obstruction, cholelithiasis (presence of gallstones) with surgical indication, intestinal obstruction (ileus), empyema (accumulation of pus) in the gallbladder
• if you have epilepsy
• if you are pregnant
• if you are breastfeeding
• in children under 6 years of age.

Precautions:

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Rowachol:

• if you have gallstones, as this may cause biliary colic or complications (obstructive jaundice, inflammation of the bile ducts - cholangitis, pancreatitis) in the presence of stones whose size does not allow their removal
• if you are elderly and have had gallbladder attacks.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
• You should not take Rowachol during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines:

• Rowachol has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.
