Plantalax 3, 20 sachets, Sofar

Plantalax 3 is a food supplement based on Psyllium fiber (Plantago ovata) and enzymes: α-galactosidase and β-galactosidase, which regulate intestinal transit and help reduce the feeling of discomfort caused by bloating, associated in some cases with the difficult digestion of certain food. Plantalax 3 contains Psyllium seed coat, a partially fermentable fiber extracted from the seeds of the Plantago ovata plant. The following properties derive from the special structure of Psyllium:

Properties:

• The high capacity to bind and retain water within the intestinal lumen and thereby increase the volume and hydration of the fecal bolus
• The presence of a gelatinous fraction with emollient and lubricating properties
• Stimulation of the proliferation of bifido-bacteria to increase faecal biomass
• The production of short-chain fatty acids, able to reach the left colon, where they are a source of energy for the cells of the intestine.

Ingredients:

Psyllium (Plantago ovata) cuticle powder; acidity corrector: anhydrous citric acid; maltodextrin; lemon-peach flavor (maltodextrin, gum arabic, triacetin); lactase/betagalactosidase (from Aspergillus niger, dicalcium phosphate); anti-caking agent: colloidal silicon dioxide;
sweetener: sucralose; coloring: Safranel extract (maltodextrin); alpha-galactosidase (from Aspergillus oryzae).

Way of ussage:

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 sachet 2-3 times a day, before meals

• Since psyllium fiber can delay the intestinal absorption of other products (medicines and food supplements), a period of at least 2 hours is required between the administration of Plantalax 3 and that of the medicines.
• Plantalax 3 action usually occurs within 24-48 hours of oral administration.
• Each dose of Plantalax 3 must be followed by the administration of an adequate amount of fluids: at least 1.5 liters per day.
• At the doses indicated above, the intake of Plantalax 3 should be continued for at least 10-15 days. After this period, it is possible to continue for another 2-3 weeks with reduced doses: 1-2 sachets per day.
• To provide a useful amount of fiber to maintain effectiveness, we recommend repeated monthly cycles of 10-15 days, administering a dose of 1-2 sachets.
